LEGO Star Wars fans wish the theme “happy 20th anniversary”

LEGO fans have appeared in a video to mark 20 years of LEGO Star Wars.

With the LEGO Group today marking 20 years since the launch of LEGO Star Wars in 1999, fans have provided video snippets for a series of clips in which they wish the theme well. The video declares that “Since 1999, the greatest battles are built by you”.

The content is then turned over to the fans, who each speak to camera and wish LEGO Star Wars well on its 20th anniversary, congratulating the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm on the longevity of the collaboration.

Today, the LEGO Group continues the celebration of the theme’s 20th anniversary, after a special wave of sets launched on April 1, each containing a commemorative minifigure. The five retro packaged sets are:
