LEGO Star Wars parody horror movie posters free to download now

Five horror movie posters with a LEGO Star Wars twist – from The Shining to The Exorcist – are now available to download at LEGO.com.

Precisely zero of the films satirised by the LEGO Group’s graphic design team are suitable for the company’s typical target audience, but that was apparently no barrier to debuting these posters for last year’s LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales Halloween special. Now we’re back in spooky season once again, the LEGO VIP team has made the posters free to download through its Halloween landing page.

That means you can set them as your phone background, print them out and frame them, or duplicate them and wallpaper your entire LEGO room with them. (Hey, we’re just spitballing here.) The five films given a LEGO Star Wars spin are The Exorcist, The Shining, Alien, The Thing and The Lost Boys, all of which are rated at least 15+ in the UK (and two, Alien and The Exorcist, are 18+).

The LEGO posters insert classic Star Wars characters like Darth Vader, porgs and Poe Dameron into the iconic one-sheets, making them fun for all the family. As long as your kids don’t ask which movies they’re based on, of course. Head over to the LEGO Halloween page to download the hi-res versions.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
