LEGO Star Wars May the 4th UCS sets rumoured to become more expensive

Rumours are that the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th Ultimate Collector Series models will become more expensive next year.

In most previous May the 4th events on the official online store, the annual UCS LEGO Star Wars models have retailed for €199.99 except for 75059 Sandcrawler in 2014 and 75098 Assault on Hoth in 2016. Other than those two models, most other builds made for the big day have all cost the same.

However, a recent rumoured set list from Promobricks reports that the 2023 May the 4th model will instead cost €239.99. While it could be a one-off occurrence similar to the 2014 and 2016 models, the source believes that this is a more permanent change for the collection of sets.

That’s believable when considering the recent price increases on LEGO sets worldwide but this has not yet been confirmed officially by the LEGO Group as this report is still just a rumour.

The 2022 May the 4th UCS set was 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder, costing €199.99. The rumoured set list features no information on what the 2023 build could be, though has several other potential sets that might be coming in the first half of the year, including two familiar Clone Trooper helmets.
