LEGO Star Wars May the Fourth Build: Grand Admiral Thrawn’s Quarters

In celebration of May the Fourth, check out this exclusive build depicting Grand Admiral Thrawn’s office – as seen in Star Wars Rebels

May the Fourth started off as a fun little phrase for fans of Star Wars to share with one another once a year, but has become a bigger international celebration in recent years. To celebrate this day, Brick Fanatics opted to build a little setting for a fan favourite Star Wars character.

Grand Admiral Thrawn’s re-introduction into the Star Wars canon was a delight for many who grew up in the early 1990s. Back then, Timothy Zahn kicked off what would be an unprecedented publishing slate that has seen hundreds of Star Wars novels released since. The novel introduced many fan favourite characters including Mara Jade and the blue-skinned Admiral himself.

As in the books, in Star Wars Rebels a central piece of Grand Admiral Thrawn’s character is his careful study of his enemies – often accomplished by reviewing the art of their culture. His quarters, which were seen a few times in Season Three, always featured a variety of artwork and other pieces of cultural significance. This build sought to recreate some of that imagery.

Grand Admiral Thrawn is included in 75170 The Phantom, available to buy from shop.LEGO.com. Special May the Fourth offers are running until May 6.

Amazing! I absolutely love all the decorations in his office! Could you tell me where they are from?

Glad you like the build! Most of the decorations are just various bits and parts from other sets, Elves and Space Police 3 contributed most of the helmets. The large Phoenix mural was made via a custom sticker. The printed pieces along the back wall were from various sets, the large disk was Life on Mars.
