LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga pre-orders were fulfilled accidentally

A UK retailer has revealed that pre-orders for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga were fulfilled accidentally and have cancelled affected orders.

Following reports that pre-orders for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga were being fulfilled way ahead of the release date and that payment was now being taken by GAME, the retailer has now responded to customers to explain what happened and why select orders are cancelled.

Twitter users Mary-Ann Lawrence and Man Lee have received responses from the GAME Customer Services department regarding the fulfilled orders, both of which state that a technical error caused the payments to be processed before LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga had a proper release date – other than Spring 2022.
