Every LEGO Star Wars set retiring in 2021 and beyond – October update

Here’s a complete and comprehensive rundown of the latest retirement dates for every single LEGO Star Wars set currently on shelves.

That includes all the sets retiring by the end of 2021, among which are heavyweights like 75275 A-wing Starfighter and 75251 Darth Vader’s Castle, and the newly-added 75307 Star Wars Advent Calendar, which has only just arrived on shelves. Just as with all LEGO advent calendars, it won’t be sticking around beyond its launch year.

Also new to this list are a handful of sets previously absent from our Star Wars overview, including 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer, 75304 Darth Vader Helmet and 75308 R2-D2. The former is good until the end of 2022 – and will therefore apparently retire before 75192 Millennium Falcon – while the latter two new releases will remain on sale into 2023.

If they’re still in stock by the end of November, any sets due to disappear by the end of this year could conceivably be among the LEGO Group’s LEGO VIP Weekend, Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals. But these dates aren’t hard and fast, so sets could also sell out long before the end of their respective years.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
