LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga retailer lists release for April 2022

A UK retailer might have prematurely revealed the release date of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga following a potential leak earlier today.

GAME, a UK video game retailer, has announced on social media that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is coming on April 5, 2022. This follows the previous report that the launch date had leaked as the same day. The original post has now been removed, though it may be that the release date was prematurely revealed.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been delayed multiple times since the originally intended launch in October 2020. The most recent trailer for the game confirmed that the current release window is Spring 2022, which April 5 would fit into.

The possible leak from an Italian Twitter account that we previously reported also named April 5 as the release date of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, stating that the game could have 20 DLC packs.

They clarified shortly after that this includes bundles and other in-app purchases so the final number of DLC may be significantly less. However, a new DLC pack has been confirmed by Amazon Mexico for the game’s deluxe edition.

TT Games has not officially announced this release date yet, though the UK retailer believes this to be the case. Provided their information is accurate, you can expect to be playing LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga from April 5.
