LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is out now

It’s been an incredibly long wait, but LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has finally arrived across all major gaming platforms in the UK and Europe.

Available from today (April 5) on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch and PC, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is TT Games’ latest (and hugely-anticipated) adventure in a galaxy far, far away, bringing together all nine mainline Star Wars films in one sprawling, ambitious title.

With more than 370 playable characters to toy around with (or more than 410 if you also pick up the season pass, included in the Deluxe Edition), 20 planets to explore and an entire galaxy to fly around, it promises to be the ultimate sandbox Star Wars game. It’s also not just your average LEGO game, built in a brand new engine with a revamped combat system and camera.

If you’ve pre-ordered a digital copy of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, you can start playing straight away, while physical copies should hopefully be arriving within the next few hours or days (depending on your choice of retailer). Don’t fret if you haven’t ordered yet, though: there’s still time to pick up the Deluxe Edition through LEGO.com, bagging VIP points in the process.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
