LEGO Star Wars Trading Cards Series 3 may not release in UK
Although Series 3 of the LEGO Star Wars Trading Card Collection is available in some territories, it may not launch in the UK.
We recently reported that the LEGO Star Wars Trading Card Collection Series 3 had launched in Spain, with Germany set to follow. The Collection has once again been created by Blue Ocean and includes 252 new cards, 30 of which are limited editions. A binder for collecting the cards is also available, with bonus promo cards being included in the official LEGO Star Wars magazine in those countries.
However, it looks as if UK fans who have been patiently waiting for Series 3 to be released will unfortunately be missing out on the latest LEGO Star Wars Trading Card Collection. According to The Holo-Brick Archives, Blue Ocean will only be releasing Series 3 of the cards in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, France and Hungary.
The site states that the company does not apparently have distribution rights in the UK and that Immediate Media (publisher of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine in that territory) will not be releasing the cards. While this doesn’t mean that the LEGO Star Wars Trading Card Collection Series 3 will never see the light of day in the UK, it probably won’t be happening any time soon.
Fans of the LEGO Star Wars Trading Card Collection can still get their hands on the latest release though, with Amazon already selling Series 3 Starter and Booster Packs, as well as a Multipack of cards. Do note though that the cards aren’t printed in English, but if that’s not an obstacle for you, then prepare to part with plenty of cash in order to complete a full collection.
