LEGO Star Wars UCS 75181 Y-wing Starfighter officially announced

The next LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set has been announced as 75181 Y-wing Starfighter.

After being spotted in a LEGO brand store over the last few days, 75181 Y-wing Starfighter has been confirmed by the LEGO Group as the next Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set. Using a whopping 1,967 pieces to achieve a collector level design, the shop.LEGO.com exclusive set will be released to fans on May 4 to tie in with the annual promotional campaign.

LEGO Star Wars UCS 75181 Y-wing Starfighter will be priced at £169.99. The et promises to be packed with features including an opening cockpit, rotating ion cannons and retractable skids. A Gold Leader minifigure and an R2-BHD droid are also included.
