LEGO Star Wars vehicles destroyed in slow motion

Wired has put together a video series with a diabolically simple and immensely satisfying concept: they build LEGO versions of Star Wars vehicles and drop them onto a platform so they shatter apart. Now I’m not one to urge fellow LEGO fans to try this at home – if I did it to some of my models I would likely cry – but this way we can watch and appreciate the crunching destruction and massive amount of debris that explodes outward. Especially as they have filmed each video in slow motion.

This has been going on for a little while now with 5 done so far. Their latest offering is the Millennium Falcon getting shredded after a crash on the surface of Jakku, so I figured it’s a good time to share these with you. Check them out below, and let us know which one is your favourite!
