The LEGO Store Milton Keynes is celebrating its 20th birthday

As part of its 20th birthday this year, the LEGO Store Milton Keynes will be hosting two days of celebrations in November.

Following a successful refurbishment and re-opening in 2018, the UK’s longest-running LEGO Store is set to celebrate its 20th birthday in style. The LEGO Store Milton Keynes will be hosting a range of fun activities for all the family, with events taking place from 9am to 7pm on November 5 and then again from 11am to 5pm on November 6.

Visitors who make their way to the store on those dates will meet a life-sized LEGO character, help decorate a LEGO birthday cake, get their faces painted and take part in a treasure hunt. In addition, the first 250 people to attend the birthday event at the LEGO Store Milton Keynes on each day will also receive a free LEGO party bag. The bags are first come, first served and limited to one per person.

Milton Keynes was the very first location in the UK to receive a LEGO Brand Store when it opened its doors in November, 2002. Just a decade ago, the branch was still only one of three LEGO Stores that existed in the country. Since then, the UK has gone on to become the location of the largest LEGO Store in the world, with the opening of the Leicester Square flagship store in London in November, 2016.

LEGO VIPs who visit the Milton Keynes store for its weekend of birthday celebrations will also be amongst the first to get their hands on 76210 Hulkbuster following its initial launch on November 4, followed by a wider release on November 9. The latest LEGO Marvel set is priced at £474.99 / $549.99 / €549.99.
