Did LEGO just tease an updated Mandalorian minifigure?

The LEGO Group might have just teased an update to Din Djarin’s beskar-clad minifigure.

In celebration of The Mandalorian returning to Disney+ for its third season, the LEGO Group tweeted a minifigure-version of the dramatic poster promoting the live-action Star Wars show. Din Djarin and Grogu soar away from an explosion, blaster in hand and naturally equipped with beskar armour and jetpack.

Looking closely at the helmet, however, it looks like there’s more detailed printing on the helmet than what we’ve seen so far paired with the beskar body and legs. While we’ve seen a helmet with similar printing before in 75331 The Razor Crest, it wasn’t combined with the same beskar torso and legs as pictured here.

While the image shared by the LEGO Group is likely a render, rather than a product photo (it’s impossible to get that level of bend in any actual minifigure arm), it certainly shows that there’s still room for Din Djarin’s minifigure to grow and improve. We’re hoping that this poster is a sign that more detail will be awarded to Din’s beskar helmet in the future. After all, he’s arguably one of the most popular Star Wars characters at the moment and his helmet plays a singularly important role in the show.

This is all speculation for now, but here’s hoping…
