LEGO teases 71033 The Muppets Collectible Minifigures

It’s time to play the music, as the

Group has finally teased the long-rumoured series based on The Muppets.

Word of a new blind-bagged series inspired by the iconic cast of puppets originally surfaced all the way back in September 2021, following a tease by

Group Vice President of Design Matthew Ashton. A potential list of minifigures then emerged the following month, suggesting a who’s-who of the series’ most memorable characters.

A tease through the LEGO Group’s social media accounts has now confirmed the existence of

, along with its first character in Kermit the Frog. The minifigure follows the design template set by last year’s , combining a printed torso and legs with a custom moulded head.

Based on last year’s release calendar – and the timing of this tease – expect to see

on shelves on May 1. A full unveiling of the entire series will likely drop any day now.

2022’s first batch of
