LEGO UCS Venator comes to life with custom interior build

A custom build for LEGO Star Wars 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser has fixed a common gripe about the set.

One of the few complaints LEGO Star Wars fans had about 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser was the lack of an interior section. While the opening hangar doors are included aesthetically with red plating, they do not open and there are no interior details on the control towers or within the main body of the ship as standard.

However, now that 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser is out in the wild and selling fast, LEGO YouTuber SwiftBricks has been quick to plug this gap in the LEGO Star Wars UCS model. In a video published on the day of release, she demonstrated how she has created a detailed interior using removable rooms sat on a contained plate. Not only does this technique make for a sturdy addition to the set, it also means that you can get all the design elements in place for your Venator interior before placing it in the ship, rather than fiddling around in a confined space.

Inside, SwiftBricks has created various control rooms, as well as a red-lined hallway that matches the colour scheme of the ship as a whole. To flesh out the interior, she’s also added more Clone Troopers to join Captain Rex, as well as a Republic Officer to assist Admiral Yularen.

In true LEGO UCS spirit, the LEGO YouTuber has also included a tiny rendition of 75309 Republic Gunship, set in the corner on its own little stand for the Clone Troopers to play with as they see fit.

If you’re not yet the happy owner of 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser, it’s out now via LEGO.com and physical LEGO stores for £559.99 / $649.99 / €649.99. However, it’s already on backorder in the United States, so if you want it fast, now is the time to buy before the same happens in other regions. American shoppers will need to wait until October 19 for their set to be shipped.
