LEGO Unikitty! to be Tesco exclusive
LEGO Unikitty! sets will be exclusive to Tesco in the UK.
Following the recently reported rumour, it is now confirmed that LEGO Unikitty! will be exclusively available at Tesco stores in the UK. Although the store that this image was taken at is unknown, there are signs clearly stating that the products are exclusive to the supermarket giant.
Unikitty! is an animated TV spin-off from The LEGO Movie, airing on Cartoon Network. Recently, images were published of the LEGO play theme that will be based on the series. The range includes regular sets, blind bags and brick bucket.
Smaller themes being exclusive to specific retailers has been more prevalent this year than in the past, with NEXO KNIGHTS exclusive to John Lewis and Speed Champions exclusive to Sainsbury’s. It is unclear if Unikitty! will be a Tesco exclusive for the rest of 2018, or if it will be for a short period until August 1.
As well as the regular LEGO theme, Unikitty! will have a blind bag series, with 12 unique characters to collect. The products are expected to officially launch in June, but may already be found on the shelves of Tesco stores.
