LEGO Xtra Road and Water Tape sets revealed

Two new LEGO Xtra items have been revealed, with 854048 Road Tape and 854065 Water Tape on the way.

LEGO Xtra is a theme based around providing accessories to enhance existing sets or builds. A new type of product is coming to the theme on June 1, with LEGO.com listing 854048 Road Tape and 854065 Water Tape.

Each roll includes 15 metres of tape, allowing for some very extensive layouts, and comes with a selection of related bricks.

854048 Road Tape includes buildable traffic lights, cones, a speed sign, a scooter and other accessories. Fans with City layouts who don’t want to keep paying out for road baseplates may find this to be a useful alternative.

854065 Water Tape comes with a buildable raft, seaweed, a crab, a frog, a fish, a net and other accessories. With many different LEGO themes having a watery component, it can complement a variety of sets.

They are priced at £7.99 and will launch on June 1 along with a host of new LEGO sets.

LEGO Brick Sketches was also revealed today, with the new theme also set to launch on June 1.
