LEGOLAND Windsor Resort advertises Model Maker vacancy

The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is looking to hire a new Model Maker – but candidates have just four days to apply for the coveted role.

Anyone who wants to transfer their LEGO hobby into a full time brick based role should check out the latest vacancy at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, as the theme parks looks to hire a new full time Model Maker.

The role of a Model Maker at the attraction involves being part of the team that designs, builds and maintains models across the theme park. With over 90 million bricks making up the models across the resort, it is likely to keep the new recruit busy. Information sent over by the LEGOLAND team highlights the new Haunted House Monster Party attraction, for which the model team will be building “spooky new models” including gargoyles and vampires.

Candidates applying for the role are expected to have design experience, “an ability to take on challenges, use their own initiative, be safety conscious and have good communication skills”. Those who are shortlisted will be tested with LEGO building challenges, including putting together a haunted house themed model.

Perks for working at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, alongside what is promised to be a “competitive” salary include 28 days holiday, 20 free tickets to Merlin Entertainments attractions and 40% discount on LEGO products.

Applications close in just four days, on Friday, September 28 at 11.59pm.
