Let it go in the new LEGO Disney Ice Castle

Winter is coming early as July 1 sees the launch of a new LEGO Disney set in the form of the biggest Frozen and mini-doll model to date.

Whether you love it or hate it, Frozen has become a pop culture icon since its release in 2013 and is now one of Disney’s most prolific properties. Therefore, it was only a matter of time until a massive LEGO model was dedicated to the movies.

43197 The Ice Castle is that model and includes four mini-dolls and plenty of other characters and references. Designed for fans of the franchise, the set is based on the first Frozen movie and depicts Elsa’s ice castle as it is constructed during the ‘Let It Go’ song.

The main cast of the film is included in the 1,709-piece build including the 2021 version of Olaf, and an exclusive iteration of Elsa in her Arendelle attire. The adorable Snowgies are also available to populate the freezing fortress as four small builds – though a fifth small model also depicts Sir Jorgenbjorgen, an example of the many Easter eggs that can be found within the set.
