First look at exclusive limited-edition 2022 LEGO Inside Tour set

Following a two-year break due to the pandemic, the LEGO Inside Tour is back, with guests being given an exclusive new limited-edition set.

Those lucky enough to attend the LEGO Inside Tour in 2022 will be able to get their hands on a very rare and highly-desirable new set. As teased in February and now revealed on his Instagram page, LEGO House Master Builder Stuart Harris has a first look at 4000037 LEGO Factory AGV which is exclusive to guests on the tour.

The AGVs (or Automated Guided Vehicles) are designed to move around the LEGO Factory moulding halls collecting bricks and pieces to be stored in the high bay warehouse. The items are then eventually packed into LEGO sets ready for shipping around the world.

Harris most recently worked on 40503 Dagny Holm – Master Builder, the third LEGO House exclusive, and also contributed to the design of 40501 The Wooden Duck.

The two-and-a-half day LEGO Inside Tour is the ultimate experience for fans, giving them a look at how the LEGO Group operates, where designers work and how bricks are produced. A different exclusive set is made available each year, with 4000037 LEGO Factory AGV being the latest edition to the list of super-rare items.

The LEGO Inside Tour will continue from August 31 to September 2 and then again from September 14 to September 16.  Tickets cost 14,500 DKK each, which converts to around £1,645 / $2,269 / €1,948, includes two overnight stays, entry to LEGOLAND, the contents of the tour itself and breakfast. Tickets can be booked directly via a dedicated webpage here.

Wow das ist ja spannend. Vermutlich werden die Arbeitsprozess mit dem Automated Guided Vehicle deutlich vereinfacht. Ich werde mich noch mehr mit dem Thema auseinandersetzen.
