Listen to Brick Fanatics discuss investing in LEGO on Times Radio

Brick Fanatics’ Editor Chris Wharfe appeared on Times Radio last night to discuss a string of LEGO thefts across the continent, and whether it’s still worth investing in LEGO in 2021.

Chris joined broadcaster Phil Williams’ segment covering the story that French police are investigating an international gang of LEGO thieves, touching on his reaction to the news, and exploring why anyone might want to steal LEGO bricks, of all things.

The answer, as we all know, is that they’re often worth a lot of money. But logistically speaking, there are also some pretty obvious challenges inherent to investing in LEGO – and, therefore, stealing it, presumably with the intention of reselling it.

Chris addresses all those points during his discussion with Phil, which also raises the question of whether it’s still worth investing in LEGO in 2021 – and also features some of the most expensive sets currently available on the secondary market.
