Look at this insane LEGO BIONICLE collection

What do you do when you’ve just bought your first home? Fill it up with an insane LEGO BIONICLE collection, obvs.

Redditor Flash_D3ath shared images of their incredible assortment of constraction figures, which covers both generations of the beloved theme. In fact, they’re apparently missing just 15 small promotional sets. Otherwise, this is as complete a BIONICLE collection as you’ll see.

From classics like 8534 Tahu and 8558 Cahdok and Gahdok to the more recent 71312 Ekimu the Mask Maker and 71316 Umarak the Destroyer, these fit-to-bursting shelves are any ’90s child’s dream. This BIONICLE superfan even has the weird minifigure playsets that debuted in 2005, like 8759 Battle of Metru Nui.

As someone who grew up with BIONICLE in the early 2000s, I don’t really want to admit how long I’ve spent staring at these images. This is everything eight-year-old-me dreamed of – a real-life game of Where’s Wally: BIONICLE edition. This anonymous redditor and I even have the same first set in 8534 Tahu, complete with its red canister.

Apparently, though, our LEGO lives have gone in very different directions since then. And at the moment, my inner child says they are very much winning. If you need me, then, I’ll be spending my afternoon on eBay, for reasons totally unrelated to this post.

Do you have a particularly impressive LEGO collection? Maybe you’ve got every set from a certain theme on display, or some properly rare LEGO treasures. Either way, let us know!

And in the meantime, please continue to grow your LEGO collection from LEGO.com and Amazon using our affiliate links. If you do, we’ll be able to keep sharing brilliant collections like this one.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
