There’s lots to look forward to from LEGO in the rest of May

While the upcoming release of summer 2022 sets is exciting, there’s still a lot to look forward to from the LEGO Group in the rest of May 2022.

Whether you’re excited about a new gift-with-purchase or the confirmation of at least one Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi set – potentially up for reveal later this month – you can still get excited about these three things coming in May before the full release of the next waves of LEGO 2022 models arrives in June and August.

From May 16 to 30, 40529 Children’s Amusement Park will be offered with purchases of £90 / $90 / €90 on all sets.

The new gift-with-purchase was already available in Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, China and Hong Kong but those of us in the UK, US and Europe can look forward to picking it up soon, while stocks last of course.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series and sets

A recent announcement for a merchandise marketing campaign for Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi named the LEGO Group, confirming at least one set based on the upcoming series.

To be clear, this will consist of weekly merchandise reveals starting on May 25. That means we might not see the official reveal of whatever the LEGO Star Wars team has designed in May, though it’s worth mentioning just in case. Either way, you can tune into the show later this month as Obi-Wan Kenobi’s first two episodes launch on Disney+ on May 27.

Those of you in the US can also start picking up summer 2022 sets later this month as May 29 is the release date for the majority of new LEGO Friends sets and all the latest DOTS models. This includes 41955 Stitch-on Patch and 41954 Adhesive Patch as well as the giraffe brick in 41717 Mia’s Wildlife Rescue.
