The Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk minifigure saga

With LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga out April 5, we’re taking a look back at the Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk minifigure’s long road to release.

The Deluxe Edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was first announced in August 2020, following new footage being shown at that year’s gamescom event. As well as the game, cool Darth Vader packaging and six additional DLC character packs (plus a Han Solo in Carbonite steelbook exclusive to GAME), the set was also revealed to include a unique Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk minifigure.

The first images of the packaging for 30625 Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk appeared online in October 2020, with a handful of polybags making it out into the wild earlier last year. Detailed images of the set showed Luke’s new double-sided head piece and blue milk carton accessory, with a picture of a Bantha on its side, which was a great touch.

Whilst the Luke Skywalker minifigure is essentially the same one that’s appeared in recent sets such as 75270 Obi-Wan’s Hut and 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina, the new head piece and blue milk accessory are sure to make it desirable enough for collectors to snap up.

Now a new video has surfaced online with YouTube user AZZATRU showing off a 30625 Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk minifigure that he somehow managed to purchase. In the video he states that the polybag cost him ‘a lot of money’ (he doesn’t say how much) and that around 20 sets were ‘taken from LEGO’ at some point, which he mentions he doesn’t condone.

It’s not yet known if the Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk minifigure will actually be an unlockable playable character in the game, but we’re betting it will be as the polybag packaging states, ‘As seen in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’.

The Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk minifigure can be picked up as part of the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition on April 5 from various retailers. For more information on which version of the game to get, check out our full pre-order guide.
