Macy’s and Toys R Us stores to host upcoming LEGO Day event

An upcoming special LEGO Day celebration will be taking place at all Macy’s and Toys R Us stores in the US this weekend.

Although the retailer hasn’t yet reopened its high street stores worldwide, Toys R Us did announce last year that it would be setting up shop within 451 Macy’s locations starting in 2022. The company is also currently hosting nine days of special events, including this weekend’s LEGO Day.

Scheduled for October 22, the in-store celebration will be taking place at all Macy’s and Toys R Us locations, with a variety of activities to participate in and plenty of freebies available to pick up. Visitors to stores will also get the opportunity to play with LEGO sets and take part in LEGO-themed giveaways.

In terms of free gifts, all those arriving at their local Macy’s and Toys R Us locations can pick up a free 30565 Birthday Clown polybag, a special birthday postcard and a LEGO Life Magazine. In addition, visitors will also receive a free goodie bag when they leave that includes a 30472 Parrot polybag.

All of the promotional LEGO items will be available on a first-come first-served basis while stocks last and are limited to one per person. Those in the US should check their local Macy’s and Toys R Us for more details of the LEGO Day event.
