Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel delivers LEGO 10272 to Old Trafford on stadium’s 110th anniversary

Renowned goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has had some fun in a new video from the LEGO Group and Manchester United, that sees the footballing legend delivering LEGO Creator Expert 10272 Old Trafford – Manchester United to Old Trafford to coincide with the stadium’s 110th anniversary.

Peter Schmeichel pays tribute to both his Danish heritage and Manchester United career in a tongue-in-cheek video. The highly regarded goalkeeper is secret agent ‘Safe Hands’ in the video, transporting 10272 Old Trafford – Manchester United from Denmark all the way to Old Trafford in Manchester, so it can take pride of place for the stadium’s 110th anniversary.

Manchester United fans will be really excited to hear that the United legend will join LEGO Design Master Mike Psiaki on March 6 at a special LEGO Store signing event.

The first game at Old Trafford was held onFebruary 19, 1910 –? 110 years ago today.

There are some great references to Manchester United and, given the secret agent storyline, James Bond, in the video. Fans should watch right to the end to hear Schmeichel deliver a message to another Manchester United retiree.
