Marvel reveals first Spider-Man: No Way Home poster

The first poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home has been revealed, giving us the first look at another returning villain for the superhero sequel.

With the December 17 release date for Spider-Man: No Way Home approaching, Marvel Studios has now unveiled the main poster for the film, depicting the titular hero facing off against Doc-Ock, with another confirmed enemy and more teases in the background.

The artwork shows Spider-Man posing on top of a pile of rubble while two robotic arms of Doctor Octopus, who was confirmed in the first trailer for the movie, launch towards him. In the background, another classic Spider-Man villain can be seen who was initially teased with a Pumpkin Bomb.

Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, who has received a minifigure version before, is sporting his metallic helmet and glider. While no more Spider-Man: No Way Home sets have been released or confirmed beyond 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop, which is now available, two more are rumoured and may open up the possibility of another Green Goblin minifigure.

Also featured in the poster is a swirling vortex of sand and a lightning bolt, which may be teasing the appearance of Sandman and Electro respectively, who were also referenced on a magazine cover that received exclusive access to the film.

With the depths of the multiverse beginning to be explored in Spider-Man: No Way Home, any villain from the cinematic history of the hero may feature in the movie. We’ll know more when it releases on December 17, but you can enjoy the dedicated set – 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop – now.
