Marvel Studios’ I Am Groot starts streaming soon

The latest Marvel Studios series starts streaming soon with I Am Groot, a new collection of animated shorts featuring the Guardian of the Galaxy. 

While the main attraction that is She-Hulk isn’t streaming until August 18, you can help pass the time until the next major Marvel Studios show with the release of I Am Groot tomorrow, August 10, 2022. 

As well as being the 90th anniversary of the LEGO Group, August 10 is also the release date for I Am Groot, a collection of shorts featuring Groot in various situations and adventures around the galaxy.

Though there are no specific sets for the series, you can relive moments from the shorts with the aptly named 76217 I Am Groot. That model features an articulated Groot figure with a smiling face and a brick-built version of the Awesome Mix Vol. 1. You can find out more in our review.

It’s a good accompanying model for the Marvel Studios series, but the trailer suggests that it’s more of a light-hearted entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it might be wise to set expectations accordingly before you start streaming. 

76217 I Am Groot is available now on the official online store and I Am Groot starts streaming tomorrow, August 10, 2022. The Guardians of the Galaxy will also be back later this year in the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which is receiving a brand new advent calendar.
