Marvel Studios will host two panels at San Diego Comic-Con

This year’s San Diego Comic-Con will play host to not one but two major Marvel Studios panels to be held in the legendary venue.

Following confirmation that Marvel Studios will be in attendance at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, including an appearance in the venue’s huge Hall H, it’s now been announced that a second panel will be added to the company’s show schedule.

Recent comments from president Kevin Feige and a Tweet from director James Gunn revealed that Marvel Studios would indeed be making a long-awaited return to SDCC this year. During a press conference for Thor: Love and Thunder, Feige stated that the studio would be in attendance at the show to ‘talk about the future’ of the MCU, which is currently in Phase 4. We now know that this Marvel Studios panel will take place on July 23 from 5.00pm to 6.00pm in Hall H, with Feige and ‘special guests’ in attendance.

As well as updates regarding its live-action movie and TV show offerings, a second Marvel Studios panel has now been added to the SDCC schedule. In a 90-minute panel taking place on July 22 from 11.45am to 1.15pm in Ballroom 20, the studio will reveal an exclusive look at the upcoming second season of What If…?, as well as sneak peeks of Marvel Zombies and X-Men ’97. The focus of this panel is on the studio’s current in-development animation slate, which could mean possible release dates and first trailers for the Disney+ shows.
