Massive $500 LEGO Marvel set rumoured for 2023
A huge LEGO Marvel model is rumoured for later in 2023, passing the $500 price point with thousands of pieces similar to 76210 Hulkbuster.
As reported by Foggyfate – now on Instagram – and shared later by 1414falconfan and exabrickslegogo, a LEGO Marvel set numbered 76269 is reported to feature 5,261 pieces for $524.99. It was shared in a Eurobricks forum for 2023 Marvel sets, suggesting a release at some point this year.
That’s a price just short of 76210 Hulkbuster at $549.99, but with a higher piece count, over 1,200 pieces more. On Eurobricks, the source makes it clear that this is not another Hulkbuster or the X-Mansion.
What this build could depict is not mentioned though recent huge Marvel creations have demonstrated that there is a wide array of content to cover from vehicles including the Helicarrier, busts like 76215 Black Panther or buildings such as 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum and 76178 The Daily Bugle.
As this source is new and has no credibility just yet, take this information with a heavy pinch of salt until the LEGO Group officially confirms otherwise.
The source’s other recent rumours include a list of LEGO Star Wars sets with another massive model said to cost $649.99, suggesting that this could be an expensive year for LEGO enthusiasts.
