Mechanical Clock rushes into LEGO Ideas review in just over a month
A mechanical clock project has reached the third 2022 review in less than a month, beating many other projects to the punch.
Coming from the mind of Sariels Bricks and Pets, the Mechanical Flip clock was uploaded to LEGO Ideas on October 26, 2022. Now, 33 days later, it has reached 10,000 supporters, passing into the third 2022 review at pace.
Many submissions on LEGO Ideas that reach 10K do so after months or even years of campaigning for support. However, that wasn’t an issue for this mechanical build.
It measures 44cm wide and 15cm tall and is made using only official LEGO elements, including the mechanical function.
Provided it can impress the judges, it wouldn’t be the first motorised or mechanical project to be transformed into a LEGO Ideas set with past examples including 21323 Grand Piano, which can play itself thanks to the Powered UP app.
At the time of writing, it’s been less than an hour since the last project reached the third 2022 review so here’s a guide to every LEGO Ideas project in the round so far.
