Meeting Brick Fanatics Magazine readers at BRICKLIVE

Brick Fanatics was at BRICKLIVE NEC 2018, and for the first time presented Brick Fanatics Magazine to the public

Maddie and I were on the Brick Fanatics Magazine stand across the four days at the Birmingham NEC event, and, after 33 hours of meeting readers, taking questions, building go-karts and giving away Harry Potter posters, we were left a little tired but, more importantly, truly humbled by the response.

Thank you to everyone who made the journey to the NEC to specifically come and see the magazine, to talk to us, and to purchase a copy or subscribe. And thank you to so many who, after seeing the issue for the first time and hearing what we had to say, also bought a copy or subscribed. More information on the magazine can be found at brickfanatics.com/magazine or here.

The reaction from those who visited the stand across the event means a great deal to us, as does the willingness to buy into the ideas that we have and to support us with your purchases.

And so, here are some go-karts! We had a go-kart-building activity on the stand, and it produced some great builds.

Shoutout to James Sturrs, who told us all about his minifigure-size Transformer builds and then sent us some pictures! Our magazine and website are all about showing you what is possible with LEGO, so we love to see what inspires our readers.

Didn’t make it to the NEC? Don’t worry, you can still pick up single issues or one of our great value subscription packages via brickfanatics.com/magazine.

As one half of Tiro Media Ltd, I mix a passion for print and digital media production with a deep love of LEGO and can often be found on these pages eulogising about LEGO Batman, digging deeper into the LEGO Group’s inner workings, or just complaining about the price of the latest LEGO Star Wars set. Make a great impression when you meet me in person by praising EXO-FORCE as the greatest LEGO theme of all time. Follow me on Twitter @RobPaton or drop me an email at [email protected].
