More details on rumoured LEGO Star Wars 2023 BrickHeadz sets

More details have emerged around next year’s rumoured LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz sets, including unexpected source material for one of the characters.

Promobricks has corroborated rumours of two separate LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz sets said to be arriving in 2023. 40615 [Endor BrickHeadz Pack] is still reported to revolve around Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, with buildable statuettes for Luke Skywalker in his black Jedi robes, Princess Leia in her camo clothing and speeder bike helmet, Lando Calrissian in his general costume, Wicket the Ewok and R2-D2.

The same source claims the second set will indeed be 40623 Tusken Raider, as originally rumoured last week. According to Promobricks, however, the model will in fact be based on the character as seen in Attack of the Clones and A New Hope, rather than The Book of Boba Fett. Given the LEGO Group’s recent focus on Disney+ TV shows, that wasn’t necessarily a given.

If 40615 and 40623 do exist – and at the moment, they’re still only rumoured – we can expect to see them on shelves in January and May respectively, for €39.99 and €9.99. If you’re keen for LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz in the meantime, this year’s releases – 40539 Ahsoka Tano and 40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader – are both available now.
