Ahoy to the latest LEGO Ideas project to pass 10k supporters

Imperial Island Fort has gathered 10,000 supporters to support their battle to reach the LEGO Ideas second review round in 2021.

This is LEGO fan BrickHammer‘s fifth time reaching the review stage and his latest attempt will be the first project for the second round of selections this year. Imperial Island Fort represents his love of pirates and the old LEGO pirates theme. Brickhammer combined real-life Caribbean architecture with classic LEGO builds, like 6276 Eldorado Fortress.

The set is made up of roughly 1500 pieces and is made up of a large main castle perched on a rocky island, with a pier stretching out in front of it. Within the castle, you can find a gatehouse tower and the governor’s house, with five cannon bastions on every side of the island to defend from marauding pirates!

To man the castle, there are four minifigures in dashing red and white uniforms. Three parrots are also perched in various locations around the island, watching out for approaching boats. If you peek through the back window, you can spot an officer planning their next journey with a map
