New 2018 sets arriving in UK LEGO Stores on January 1

The new LEGO range for 2018 will be available from official LEGO Stores from January 1.

As LEGO fans know, at this time of year the 2018 range starts showing up early. Anytime from mid December there is the possibility of finding the sets early, but the final week of the year is particularly fruitful for toy hunting. That will not be the case at the LEGO Store, where employees at three different UK locations have confirmed that the new 2018 sets will not launch until January 2018.

There is no new big bang theme in 2018, fans will instead be checking out consistent favourites such as Star Wars, City, Friends and NINJAGO as well as recent hits such as The LEGO Batman Movie.

Those who have VIP points to spend or want to earn some more should get ready for January 1, and head to the nearest LEGO Store.
