New LEGO Creator 2022 set lands on LEGO.com for the new year

31129 Majestic Tiger has launched on the official online store as the only known LEGO Creator set for January 2022 with a lifelike recreation.

Only one LEGO Creator set is confirmed for launch today as 31129 Majestic Tiger is available now on LEGO.com for £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99 with 755 pieces. Like most Creator models, the primary build can be taken apart and transformed into two alternate creations, though the main attraction is the detailed tiger.

31129 Majestic Tiger was designed by George Gilliatt and includes a variety of anatomically-correct details, including one that has sparked an explanation from the designer.

Considering that 2022 is the year of the tiger in the Chinese zodiac calendar, 31129 Majestic Tiger’s launch on January 1, as opposed to the rest of the 2022 Creator sets coming in March, makes sense to coincide with the event.

In addition to the tiger model, a small section of a bamboo forest is also included with a bird to add to the scenery and give 31129 Majestic Tiger something to explore and interact with.

The LEGO Creator 2022 set is available now on the official online store as the only build for the theme in 2022 so far following the disappearance of the postcards, though they may yet reappear on LEGO.com.
