New LEGO Friends animated series to start on YouTube soon
The reboot of LEGO Friends comes with a new animated series and it’s now been revealed that it starts on YouTube in a few days.
At the start of 2023, LEGO Friends was overhauled with a new cast of characters, fresh models and more diversity, overhauling the theme after its initial 10-year run.
Alongside the relaunch, LEGO Friends is getting a new animated series with a first look released earlier this month. Now, the full details of when we can expect to watch this new series have been revealed.
Season one of LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter starts on January 29 with a 44-minute launch special on YouTube. The rest of the season will consist of 10 22-minute episodes streaming in March on YouTube and the LEGO website.
The series will follow the lives of Aliya, Autumn, Leo, Zac, Nova, Paisley, Olly, and Liann as they navigate their first year of high school while becoming friends. Remember that the full original cast will return as adults in the relaunch of the theme, potentially appearing in the animated series over time too.
While you wait for the launch special of LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter on January 29, the first full wave of 2023 sets is available now with over 20 to choose from.
