New LEGO GWPs for the 2021 Chinese New Year sets have been revealed

A new range of LEGO Chinese New Year sets will release soon, and the LEGO Group has revealed some new GWPs themed to the releases.

Both of the new LEGO Chinese New Year sets are just days away from launching, and to celebrate, the LEGO Group has uploaded two new videos showcasing the new sets, and a certain surprise.

The videos feature animations for each of the sets, both 80107 Spring Lantern Festival and 80106 Story of Nian. The animations give a good tour of the models and their features.

However, at the end of both videos, some new LEGO GWPs are revealed as well as the requirements to get them. The new items include the LEGO LNY Lantern and the LEGO LNY Pagoda. The former depicts a hanging lantern with tassels on the side and the latter is a traditional pagoda with a red roof.

These new GWP items will be offered to shoppers who purchase both of the new sets. However, the video does not disclose the region or dates when this offer will be available.

Brick Fanatics has reviewed both 80106 Story of Nian and 80107 Spring Lantern Festival before their release next week. Hopefully soon the first details of this new offer will become available, with a likely release being close to the launch.
