New LEGO Icons rebranding lands on LEGO.com

Following the announcement that LEGO Creator Expert would become LEGO Icons, the rebranding has arrived on the official online store.

For those who haven’t heard, LEGO Creator Expert has been officially rebranded to LEGO Icons, at least digitally as physical changes won’t be implemented into sets until 2023.

Those changes will include the LEGO Icons logo on boxes for corresponding sets. In the meantime, you can see for yourself that Creator Expert is no more by visiting LEGO.com, where the theme’s page has been updated with the LEGO Icons branding as well as a description.

Not much will change between LEGO Creator Expert and LEGO Icons in terms of sets as the updated theme will now reflect icons of pop culture, the world, vehicles and more. The description states as much and makes it clear that these are models intended for display.

The digital rebranding of LEGO Creator Expert to LEGO Icons takes us one step closer to the end of the full transformation of this theme, which we’ll consider completely done when the branding appears on physical boxes in 2023.
