New LEGO sets available early at San Diego Comic Con 2018

A whole range of new LEGO sets are available to buy ahead of the official August launch at San Diego Comic Con.

LEGO fans attending San Diego Comic Con can be among the first in the world to own a selection of upcoming [geot exclude_country=”United States”]LEGO[/geot][geot country=”United States”]LEGO[/geot] sets. As well as the exclusive products that a lucky few can purchase, regular release sets are on sale almost two weeks before the official launch date of August 1.

Each day of the convention, 100 copies of LEGO Ideas 21311 Voltron are available, all signed by LEGO Ideas Creative Lead Samuel Johnson and LEGO Designer Niek van Slagmaat.

The new LEGO Star Wars sets are also available to buy at the show, including 75218 X-wing Starfighter, 75220 Sandcrawler, 75216 Snoke’s Throne Room and 75214 Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter. For anyone not at the convention, they will be released on August 1.

A just revealed new DC Super Heroes set is also available for attendees to buy, 76095 Aquaman: Black Manta Strike.

Two new LEGO Fantastic Beasts are at the show early, with Samuel Johnson also having signed a selection of 75952 Newt’s Case of Magical Creatures boxes, one of the sets from the range he designed (the Senior Model Designer has also signed some of the Jurassic World sets that he worked on). The other set on sale is from the new film, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, 75951 Grindelwald’s Escape.

San Diego Comic Con 2018 runs from July 19 to July 22.
