New rewards launch for The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks

Those crowdfunding the upcoming book – The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks – have more rewards to choose from now.

It seems that Unbound, the LEGO Group’s crowdfunding partner on The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks, is looking to give the project a boost. It’s touted as the first ever official LEGO book aimed directly at AFOLs, authoured by Blocks magazine US Editor Daniel Konstanski.

Having already acquired more than 2,000 backers since its launch in August, new rewards are launching now to entice more LEGO fans to help fund the book. This time around, rather than retired sets, the extras are “brand-new rewards that will up the excitement for fans since they include items that have never been offered in this way before and which tie in closely to the themes of the book.”

Crowdfunding on the book is available until May 31, with the book expected to be delivered in Spring 2022.

“We are super excited about this project,” says Sanne Dollerup of the LEGO Group’s AFOL Engagement team. “It has been absolutely wonderful to find so much love and support for it, both in the AFOL community but also internally at the LEGO Group – especially when scouting for attractive rewards, we were met with a heartfelt interest and dedication to offering fans something new. This has been an energizing experience.”
