New Spider-Man: No Way Home TV spots arrive before movie’s release

Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally due for release this week and now three new TV spots have been revealed to promote the movie.

As one of the most eagerly-anticipated films of 2021, Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to open around the world this week and as early as 15 December in the UK. Marvel Studios and Sony have been extremely secretive about the full plot of the movie, despite numerous leaks, hints and rumours on social media.

What we do know is that Spidey will be diving webhead-first into the Marvel multiverse accompanied by Doctor Strange. This time around the threat arrives in the form of villains from previous Spider-Man movies, including Doctor Octopus, Electro, Sandman, the Lizard and the Green Goblin.

As the film’s pre-release promotion enters the home straight, Marvel Studios and Sony have released three new TV spots that feature previously unseen footage. As you’ll see in the YouTube links below, Doctor Strange unleashes new magical abilities by conjuring mystical runes similar to those wielded by Agatha Harkness and the Scarlet Witch in WandaVision.

Other shots include Peter Parker asking the world for its support in tackling the new-found foes he feels responsible for unleashing, the Green Goblin’s smashed and discarded mask and even more epic battle scenes.

Three LEGO Spider-Man: No Way Home sets are currently available in the shape of 76195 Spider-Man’s Drone Duel, 76184 Spider-Man vs. Mysterio’s Drone Attack and 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop, but none of those include minifigures of the villains glimpsed in the trailers.

Spider-Man: No Way Home opens in cinemas next week, so we’ll finally get to discover all of its secrets and characters, which will only then lead us to speculate on what other possible LEGO sets we’d like to see released based on the movie.
