Next wave of The LEGO NINJAGO Movie sets announced

Four new sets based on The LEGO NINJAGO Movie are coming in January 2018, with official images now released.

PromoBricks reports the news that the LEGO Group has revealed four new The LEGO NINJAGO Movie sets – including the return of the spinners – that will arrive in January 2018, including the mysteriously absent mech for Cole. Spoiler sensitive folks should not pay too much attention to the minifigure line-up, which may reveal a plot twist from the film.

70628 Spinjitzu Master Lloyd

Action-packed LEGO game fun: With the new LEGO Ninjago Set Spinjitzu Master Lloyd, children train their ninja skills in dexterity and speed. As soon as the Green Ninja sits in the minifigure capsule, it is attached to the spinner. Pulling the string, young Ninja heroes spin the Spinjitzu spinner around the area. They make cool tricks with turning, rolling and jumping techniques and think about spintastic stunts over obstacles or challenge their friends.

70629 Piranha Attack

To protect Kai’s and Nya’s father Ray from the Piranha attack in Ninjago City, Kai and Misako use all their skills. The super-strong Piranha-Mech with a snap-action snap and two rockets tracks Rays rickshaw. Kai sets his katana swords and Misako their bow and arrow.

70631 Garmadon’s Volcano Lair

Garmadon’s Volcano Lair offers an exciting building and playing experience. The volcano lair contains, among other things, a minifigure catapult function, with which Garmadon hurls General No. 1 from the summit of the volcano. If you want to get to the hiding place, you have to avoid the mussel and the shark mouth of the shark. With full ninja power, Garmadon and his shark monsters are overwhelming.

70632 Cole’s Thunder Mech

Ninja fans hurry to help TV anchor Fred Finley with Cole’s Thunder Mech. The mission: to save Finley from the shark monsters. In the cockpit of the cool Mechs, they attack with the giant fists and protect Fred with Cole and Misako, Lloyd’s mother. The mighty shoulder-blade of the Thunder-Mech can be unfolded to expel the nasty shark monsters with powerful sound waves.

The first wave of sets based on The LEGO NINJAGO Movie are available to buy now. The LEGO NINJAGO Movie is due for release on September 22 in the USA and October 13 in the UK.
