Each year, the LEGO Star Wars theme celebrates Star Wars Day on May 4 in style. This year has seen them go even bigger to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, with two exciting Star Wars Day GWPs revealed.

Now, the LEGO Group has released official images for LEGO Star Wars 40591 Death Star II, a miniature revolving version of the iconic Imperial weapon – and only the second full replica of the battle station released to date. At 289 pieces, the build is small but detailed, capturing the Death Star mid-attack with a green. beam firing out.

Standing 15cm high, 40591 Death Star II rotates on its brick-built display stand so that you can view it from every angle. Although there’s no word yet on the spending threshold or specific dates the set will be available, it’s believed to begin on May 1, 2023.
