LEGO 40460 Roses and 40461 Tulips release date, prices and images revealed

The LEGO Group has revealed more details and images for 40460 Roses and 40461 Tulips, including their official box art.

Both sets appeared on LEGO.com a few days ago, but the LEGO Group has now supplied even more images of the buildable flowers. They’ll complement the upcoming 18+ set 10280 Flower Bouquet very nicely, or provide a cost-effective alternative for fans without the budget (or space) to spare.

The LEGO Group has also confirmed the USD prices and release date for both sets. They’re due to launch on January 1, and will be available solely through official LEGO channels, including LEGO Stores and LEGO.com. You can check out the full details for both sets – along with the brand new images – below.

40460 Roses
120 pieces | £11.99 / $12.99 / €12.99

40461 Tulips
111 pieces | £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99

We’ve also received a few more in-situ images of the sets paired with 10280 Flower Bouquet and 10281 Bonsai Tree, showing off the kind of home you could have if you owned the entire assortment of plastic flowers. In short: a home filled with plastic flowers.

If that’s the kind of home you want to live in (and let’s face it, it’s one with infinitely less responsibility than a home filled with real flowers), you’ll be able to order both 40460 Roses and 40461 Tulips directly from LEGO.com on January 1.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
