Official LEGO Advent Calendars – December 12

Every day until December 24, Brick Fanatics takes a look at the gifts in the LEGO CITY, LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Friends Advent Calendars for 2016

Here is the requisite Christmas lamppost, decorated with a wreath, perfect for the festive LEGO layout. It’s simple, but effective.

A couple of extra bricks are necessary to give it a minifigure-friendly height, though.

Every Friends set, of any size, has a bag full of accessories. Horse sets have grooming tools, beauty sets have makeup, and home based sets have kitchen accessories. You can never have too many of these, as they are easy to lose and additional plates means a proper table setting is possible.

If you are one of the many people who can’t recall the name of this obscure vehicle from Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars, it’s a HMP (Heavy Missile Platform) Droid Gunship. It was most prominently featured in the Onderon story arc.

While its main features have been captured the model is lacking a bit too much detail.

Each day, we will compare the three builds and pick the best.

Each door contains a completely acceptable bunch of bricks today. The CITY model is nice and requires just a couple of extra bricks to make it pretty much perfect.
