Official LEGO Minecraft magazine now available in UK

Following a special one-off issue released in January, Immediate Media has now launched the official LEGO Minecraft magazine in the UK.

Publisher Immediate Media has now added to its ever-growing line-up of titles with the official LEGO Minecraft magazine. Although already available in territories such as Germany via Blue Ocean Entertainment, the first issue of the monthly title has only just been released in the UK.

LEGO Minecraft magazine is available from newsagents and supermarkets now and is priced at £4.50. Each issue is set to include the usual mix of LEGO comic strip stories, puzzles, posters and activities, all aimed at a young demographic.

The launch issue of the official LEGO Minecraft magazine also includes two free cover gifts that are well-worth picking up. For starters there’s an exclusive Skeleton minifigure with bow and arrow, plus a TNT thrower for hurling explosives at passers-by.

The monthly LEGO Minecraft magazine was previously trialled as a special one-off issue in January and included free minifigures of the game’s eponymous hero, Steve (with fishing rod and sword accessories), as well as a Zombie and a brick-built rideable pig. Interest in a regularly-published LEGO Minecraft magazine may also have been drummed up following its inclusion in a feedback survey released last year.

LEGO Minecraft magazine joins Immediate Media’s already impressive range of official titles, which includes LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Explorer, LEGO NINJAGO, LEGO Friends and LEGO CITY magazines. There are rumours of seven new LEGO Minecraft sets potentially being released this summer, but nothing has been confirmed by the LEGO Group so far.
