Official LEGO Overwatch 2019 images revealed

The 2019 reveals are coming thick and fast. Yesterday, images of the new LEGO Spider-Man sets landed online, and now, The Brick Fan has uncovered official images of the upcoming LEGO Overwatch range from Target’s website.

If you’re a fan of the multiplayer videogame the sets are based on, then you’re probably going to be pleased with this line-up. There are 13 different characters among the colourful sets, including Tracer, Widowmaker, Hanzo, Genji, Soldier 76, Reaper, McCree, D.Va, Reinhardt, Bastion, Mercy, Winston and Pharah.

And even if you’ve never played the game before, as we suspect many AFOLs won’t have, there still looks to be plenty here to love, in both the sets and minifigures. They also seem pretty reasonably priced, at least in US dollars, so you hopefully won’t need to break the bank to get your hands on them. Check out the gallery below for all the images.

These images confirm earlier information revealed by Brick Fanatics that the first wave would contain six traditional minifigure-scale sets, which are expected to launch in January. You can already get your hands on one early-release exclusive set, 75987 Omnic Bastion, which you can see our verdict on here.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
