Philadelphia Zoo opens LEGO Creatures of Habitat exhibit

Today, LEGO fans visiting Philadelphia Zoo can see the all-new Creatures of Habitat: A Gazillion-Piece Animal Adventure created by LEGO Certified Professional Sean Kenney.

Philadelphia Zoo opens an all-new LEGO exhibit today, which has been designed and constructed by Certified Professional (LCP) Sean Kenny. The attraction, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA is unveiling Creatures of Habitat: A Gazillion-Piece Animal Adventure. The displays feature 12 life sized brick-built animal vignettes, depicting animals in their natural environment.

The exhibit aims to highlight Philadelphia Zoo’s work protecting wildlife and conservation. The builds cover 12 different species, each built at life sized scale. LEGO creatures range from the tiny golden lion tamarin to the huge western lowland gorilla.

Fans visiting the zoo will find LEGO models of a chameleon, harlequin frog, African lion, Bornean orangutan, western lowland gorilla, golden lion tamarin, diamond-backed terrapin, Humboldt penguin, polar bear, micronesian kingfisher and the rainforest.

Zoo Keys allow children to hear audio information about various animals as they visit the exhibits and make their way around the zoological park.

Tickets to visit Philadelphia Zoo, which includes entry to Creatures of Habitat: A Gazillion-Piece Animal Adventure, are available from the attraction’s official website.
