There’s potential for a LEGO Ideas 21336 The Office expansion set

LEGO Ideas 21336 The Office is now available, and the online community is interested in an expansion already using more copies or new designs.

Based on the sitcom of the same name, 21336 The Office is one of the most recent LEGO Ideas models including many minifigures and references based on the show in a 1,164-piece build for £104.99 / $119.99 / €119.99. 

With the show’s popularity, the online community is suggesting that just one LEGO The Office set may not be enough with several designs incorporating multiple models or entirely new office expansions. 

Over on Reddit, TryonB was quick to combine multiple versions of the model digitally following its reveal, showcasing how three copies of the set can make the full Dunder Mifflin office in LEGO, almost. 

Alternatively, a smaller combo build has been conceived by MonkeyLizardLicker, using just two copies of LEGO Ideas 21336 The Office but with a less expansive floor plan. 

However, Insvention on Instagram has imagined a more realistic expansion for 21336 The Office, featuring the accounting department. They’ve even provided a parts list for those who’d like to pursue this design for their copy of the LEGO Ideas model.

With double VIP points and a trio of GWPs now available on the official online store, it’s not a bad time to pick up 21336 The Office for those who have yet to add one of the latest LEGO Ideas sets to their collection. The set is currently on backorder, or out of stock temporarily in the US.
